MYND. Three: Motivation

No, you can do this

Do you see what's in the distance? Do you see that tiny little thing? Call me crazy, but I think I see the light. Let's run towards it with all our might and free ourselves from this intoxicating darkness.

Seeing the light after being discouraged seems impossible.

Although, the greatest pieces of art came from hundreds of negative thoughts, but the artist pushed through and created anyway. As a result, we were graced with the earth shattering works of art we live with today.

Think of your favorite albums, TV shows, photoshoots, movies, and ponder how they made an impact on your life. Now picture your life without those influences.

How do would you feel if you never got to hear, see or experience those things?

If you're anything like me you would rather die than to live without Jill Scott's "The Real Thing Vol. 2, Erykah Badu's 'Baduism' or SZA's 'CTRL.'

To find your motivation, you have to try things and see what works for you. Maybe it's a specific podcast or album. Maybe it's your mom or spouse. Whatever it is, cling to it and never let it go.

Focus in on your art and push out the imaginary nay sayers. Create loud and proud. Stop overthinking. You owe it to yourself to at least try.

You never know if a piece of your heart will attach to someone else's.

Now that we've created, I think it's time to show it some people.

"Hey what do you think about this?"

"Well...
